It’s official! I am a runner. What started as a whim back in Nashville at the end of July has turned into my new love. I completed my first race on February 19th in Austin, Texas for TEAM LIVESTRONG. It was AMAZING! My first race also happened to be a half-marathon. 13. 1 miles! What made me want to do it? For all of those I know and love who have been affected by the horrible disease called cancer. I run for those who can’t. Cheer for me, but know you are really cheering for them! I’m excited to see what my future holds and where TEAM LIVESTRONG may take me…
